Head of the SB programme project "RES-Chains – Sustainable renewable energy chains in South Baltic region” Lennart Tyrberg, coordinator of project “SB-OFF.E.R. - South Baltic Offshore Wind Energy Regions” Mareike Korb and other international partners participated in this event.
Partners of South Baltic programme projects participated also in the exhibition “Individual House Building – 2012”, in 19-22 d.d. in Klaipeda "Švyturio arena", which was visited by more as 27 thousand of people from Klaipeda region and overall Lithuania.

The stand “Fascination Offshore” dedicated to promote offshore wind energy of project SB-OFF.E.R. and International Innovations conference “Towards sustainable offshore wind energy in South Baltic” as “Road Show event” were operated during this exhibition.
The purpose of the WEIP – to spread information on matter of wind energy innovation, to organise education, advise businessmen, teachers, public employees, youth, etc. According to project aims, WEIP should operate during five years after project termination in the end of 2012 year. However this isn’t a problem for “Winders”, who are developing wind power in Lithuania and EU from 1993. This is an additional international confirmation of our activity and new obligations.
Seeking to create and develop overall wind energy activities it’s very important to inform society about opportunities of this one of the most important and perspective branches of RES. Near permanently arranging seminars was decided to support and promote business related to wind energy. Production of Lithuanian producers, wind and solar generators, elements and parts will be demonstrating on the mansard of Eksponente in 14th flour.
Working in Siauliai firm "Vėjo fabrikas" installed model of producing 1kW - 15kW wind turbines above the Klaipeda. CEO Lauras Balcevicius could be proud: “Everything is from one hand, in Lithuania, without any intermediaries. Parts are on the storage. We take care for production, installation, connection and service”.
WEIP is ready to take and present to visitors products of other producers wind and solar generators, because we are obligatory to declare – “Made in Lithuania!”
