LED sprendimai sparčiai skverbiasi ir į Lietuvos miestų bei pajūrio regiono viešąją erdvę. Toliausiai pažengė šia kryptimi Palangos savivaldybė. Čia 46 vienetai Philips CitySpirit modelio LED šviestuvų papuošė Palangos tiltą. 90 LED šviestuvų įrengta Meilės alėjoje. Dar 24 LED šviestuvus planuojama įrengti Kęstučio gatvėje. Vilniaus savivaldybė rengia studiją, numatančią koncesijos principu pakeisti į LED virš 36 tūkstančių sostinės gatvių šviestuvų. Pietų Korėjos įmonė „LK technology“ įsteigė LED šviestuvų gamyklas Tauragėje ir Kaune. Lietuvos automobilių kelių direkcija diegia LED ir atsinaujinančių energijos išteklių sprendimus keliuose bei magistralėse. Pastaraisiais mėnesiais ženkliai krenta LED įrangos kaina, kas duoda optimizmo, kad kuo toliau, tuo ši pažangi naujovė bus vis plačiau pritaikoma.
