Abstract
This article presents a teleonomic critique of innovation, revealing that innovations are artificial actions deviating from the laws of life, weakening natural societal self-growth, the family reproduction spiral, and civilizational health. Based on the author’s 40 years of scientific and practical work — including the development of virtual modelling methodology, strategic self-management, and smart renewal — the article demonstrates that only teleonomy, the natural law of life’s renewal, can serve as the foundation of a new civilization. Innovations, as artificial constructs, are foreign bodies that diverge from the life spiral and cause losses in fertility, health, longevity, and social self-governance. Teleonomy, in contrast, opens the path toward the Homo Virtualis (HV) civilization — the stage of global brains, self-governing families, and the Civilization of Love.

1. Introduction: A Revelation after 35 Years of Innovation Research
Since 1985, the author’s scientific work has focused on progress, virtual modelling, and the application of innovations for societal well-being. Over several decades, more than 170 scientific and renewal works were created, advanced energy, telecommunications, IT, and education initiatives were established, and the wind energy industry in Lithuania was formed.
However, today, based on a teleonomic analysis of civilizational evolution, it becomes evident:
Innovation is not a law of life. Innovation is an artificial deviation from life’s teleonomy.
This revelation is not denial — it is an evolutionary transition to a higher stage of consciousness.
2. Why Innovation Is a Foreign Body in Life’s Teleonomy
Innovation is a human action aimed at creating something that nature itself did not create. Nature does not innovate — nature renews.
Life:
- regenerates,
- repeats in spirals,
- rises to higher stages,
- never creates artificial structures.
Therefore, innovation:
- deviates from the reproduction spiral,
- disperses family time,
- reduces fertility,
- weakens health,
- shortens longevity,
- disrupts self-governance,
- generates noise.
This is a violation of life’s teleonomy.
3. Teleonomy: The Natural Holy Grail of Life
Teleonomy is:
- natural renewal,
- cultivation of self-growth,
- strengthening of the family reproduction spiral,
- the cycle of self-governance,
- the rhythm of Sielija.
It is the Holy Grail — the directional law of life discovered by the author through 40 years of research.
Teleonomy:
- strengthens families,
- strengthens self-governance,
- strengthens fertility,
- strengthens health,
- strengthens civilizational longevity.
Innovation does the opposite.
4. The Gardener Metaphor: How Society Should Be Cultivated
A gardener:
- does not load a tree with innovations,
- does not create artificial constructs,
- does not redesign nature,
- only removes obstacles,
- allows the tree to grow according to its innate program.
Society is a tree. Families are the roots. CoLo is the network of branches. HV is the crown.
Therefore:
Teleonomy = cultivation of self-growth. Innovation = loading the tree with foreign bodies.
5. Why the Innovation Civilization Is Collapsing
The author predicted the collapse of the USSR in 1986 and warned the Lithuanian government in 2007 about the approaching crisis, which later occurred.
This demonstrates:
Virtual modelling methodology accurately predicts the collapse of artificial systems.
Artificial civilizations (feudal, capitalist, socialist, wage-labor) collapse due to:
- innovation unproductivity,
- reduction of the workweek to 3 days,
- blocking of family teleonomy,
- weakening of the reproduction spiral.
This is a teleonomic law.
6. Why AI Used for Servitude Will Burst
Today AI is applied to:
- corporations,
- bureaucracy,
- wage-labor systems.
These are innovations of servitude, which:
- contradict the laws of life,
- weaken family teleonomy,
- deviate from Sielija,
- become generators of noise.
Therefore, the AI bubble:
will ripen and burst, just as the USSR, industrial economy, and socialist system collapsed.
AI can survive only when it becomes a CoLo synapse — an organ of family teleonomy.
7. HV Civilization: The Triumph of Teleonomy
By 2036, humanity will transition into:
- Homo Virtualis (HV),
- global brains,
- self-governing families,
- Sielija,
- the Civilization of Love.
This is the teleonomic evolutionary path foreseen and modelled by the author in the projects SIELIJA, iSaviugda, iGenijus, and strategic self-management methodology.
8. Conclusion: Teleonomy versus Innovation — The Beginning of a New Civilization
The author’s 35 years of innovation research revealed:
Innovation is an artificial deviation from life’s teleonomy. Teleonomy is the natural Holy Grail of life.
Therefore:
- innovation must give way to teleonomy,
- civilization must transition to self-governance,
- families must regain the reproduction spiral,
- AI must become a CoLo organ,
- HV civilization must be born.
This is the beginning of a new civilization.
